There were certain rumours that MMC was not providing quality food at the hostels but later the dean clarified these things and said it was fake and the students are served with good food.

But However in every hostel the food which will you get is not upto that quality in taste wise and it is something which you won't like to have everyday. Regarding the mess menu it is decided by the college and you would be provided with it before consuming it. So, you need not worry about this .

Talking about the next part of your question , you won't be getting ac in bathroom. Like in every hostel you would getting common bathrooms.
