Dear,

One can easily excel in the BCom entrance exams if he/she focuses more on class 11 and 12 maths. In an entrance exam, there are generally 3 sections :

1.Verbal Ability

2.Reasoning Ability

3.Quantitative Aptitude

Some entrance exams also have a GK section.

Verbal ability tests a student on the basis of Reading Comprehension, Critical Reasoning, Vocabulary and Para Jumbles. Do as much reading as you can, so as to score well in this section.Quantitative Ability tests a student on some topics like Geometry, Mensuration, Probability, Progressions, Matrices, Permutations & Combinations, and some other important topics of mathematics. Class 11 and 12 Maths is sufficient for this.

In Quantitative Ability Section, some questions will also be there from the data interpretation section. For reasoning ability, practice previous year papers to know the pattern of questions coming in the exam. For General Awareness, Current affairs and static GK will be sufficient.

Hope this helps!
