Only NCERT will not be enough if you want to score good in JEE Main, You will have to clear all the concepts from NCERTs or other reference books and practice MCQ solving from any books like Arihant ,MTG etc. You can also solve previous year question papers to get clear idea about which type of questions are asked in JEE Main.

Following are some of the questions asked in JEE Main on semiconductor topic:

• Q. A semiconductor device is connected in a series circuit with a battery and a resistance. A current is found to pass through the circuit. If the polarity of the battery is reversed, the current drops almost to zero. The device may be
