Answering with your query-
Candidate has to score above given cut-off marks on that basis candidates will be given admission to UG & PG courses in University. Different courses have different cut-off marks. AMU merit list is prepared on the basis of cut-off marks.
Below I have mentioned the last year cutoff marks for BCOM-
Category    Qualifying Marks
General      75-80
SC/ST          70-75
