Dear aspirant

The last year cut off marks i.e neet2020 for government medical College in Chattisgarh state counselling upto second round was

Gen - 551 marks ( Air 42016)

Gen female- 553 marks

Obc - 548 marks

Sc - 447 marks

ST - 332 marks.

So if you belong to general category then you should must aim for 570+ marks in neet exam 2021 for safe seat as exam has been postponed and students have got more time for prepation.

As per your query the cut for the govt  medical college was
For General category 598
For OBC 589
For SC 498
For ST 496
But it may vary according to the level of question paper and number of students appeared and number of seats

Hello Mickey Mary,

The cut-off of every year depends upon the following factors:

  • Number of candidates giving exam
  • Number of seats
  • Candidate's category
  • NEET difficulty level
  • Candidate's performance in exam

The factors cause changes in the cut-off every year and hence it can go up or down.


For GENERAL category and Government medical college the marks at which the admissions closed in the year 2019 was 587 at rank 10983. This is under AIQ.

For SQ seats the closing marks was 542.
