Analysing the previous year data, the cut-off rank for the NITs were:

NIT Trichy
CSE- 1373
Civil- 12485
EEE- 5243

NIT Rourkela
CSE- 4115
Civil- 17939
EE- 9875

For getting admission in NIT Trichy or Rourkela, you need to rank atleast 1200 to get CSE. You need to score 99+ percentile, 99.8 percentile to be on the safe side. Try getting 250+ marks in JEE Main. The competition is high so you need to prepare and practice very well.

Also note that the cut-off rank changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of candidates appearing for it.

As per your question you didn't mention which department you are interested in. So i should have to give you the closing ranks of all departments. So if you want to know the minimum percentile and rank you need to go in nit trichy so here are the closing ranks of all the department:-
1) CSE:-1373
2) ECE:-3019
3) EEE:-5243
4) ME:-5968
5) CHEMICAL ENGINEERING :-10643
6) CE:-12485
7) ICE:-13606
8) PE:-19626
So these are the closing ranks according to your percentile you need to go in nit trichy. This may differ as per cut off.
