There will be no effect on any other category but general category. 

Before EWS was made into law this was the reservation senario in India

1. OBC  27 %

2. SC AND ST 22.5 %

3. General 50 %

Now after impleminting EWS

1. OBC 27 %

2. SC AND ST 22.5 %

3. EWS from general category 10 %

4. General category 40%

So the OBC category reservation is untouched.
