What will be the best carrier option after completing civil engineering?

Hi

Firstly feel proud you are a civil engineer

Now let me tell you what all you can do with your degree

1. GATE:  Give it a try,  if you want to pursue higher studies in i. e Mtech IIT and NIT. Also if you are gate qualified you can a monthly scholarship of 12k

2. IES:  You are now eligible to become IES officer.  It is the most prestigious post any engineer can dream of. 

3. PSU:  If you are technically strong you can apply for PSU.  Nowadays they are highly dependent on GATE score so prepare hard for GATE. 

4. State Government Jobs:  comparative easy to crack compared to IES.  You can also eligible for government jobs. 

5. Jobs:  construction giants like L&T,  Tata project,  SPCL,  HCC. Attend their interview.  Go to their respective sites check for career options speak to HR. 

6. Higher studies:  MBA or Construction/Project management etc. 

You can also attempt CAT with your engineering degree.
