Well there isn't any specific cutoffs for sponsorship category.

There are total of 84 sponsored seats. And these seats are usually for the candidates who have the backing of any christian church or Christian Organization which is a member of the Christian Medical College Vellore Association and any other Church or Christian Body which operates its own medical work in India or neighbouring countries.
