EWS Reservation or Economically weaker section reseravtion has been implemented from the year 2019 for MBBS/BDS seat. They have 10% reservation of seats. But it won't affect the original allotement of seats much because for accomodating 10% reserved students, government has given 25% more seats in the medical colleges. For example - In west bengal 475 ews seats has been sanctioned by the central govt while they have not disturbed the original pool of seats.
