Hi Gautham,

In the Central Board of Secondary Education's marking system, 70 of the total 100 marks in a subject is given on the basis of a written test and the remaining 30 are given on the basis of the student's performance in a practical test. Although there is no official minimum marks you will get and it is also possible to get zero, this rarely happens as most students more than 20. However, you should not take it lightly and should study for it well.

As far as the paper correction is concerned, it depends on then accuracy of your answers and your handwriting. if you have written all the correct answers in a clearly understandable handwriting, you will definitely get marks for it. To some extent, it even depends upon the corrector's mood.
