dear vaishnavi,

The basic eligibility for courses in physiotherapy is 10 +2 passed or equivalent examination with physics , chemistry , biology and english. Atleast 50% of marks should be scored in each of the subjects. Age limit for the candidates is 17 years. And neet marks can be helpful to getting into top colleges but BPT is not under NEET . It can act as a catalyst for sure.

all the best.

Dear Vaishnavi,

It is not mandatory to appear in NEET for joining Physiotherapy courses. NEET is made compulsory only for M.B.B.S, B.D.S, Siddha and Ayurveda courses. Diploma in Physiotherapy(D.P.T) is a professional course in medical nursing which can be carried out after successful completion of 11th and 12th. However some colleges sconduct their own entrance examination for admission into D.P.T. The eligibility criteria is a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology(45% for SC/ST?OBC candidates).
