According to your rank , you can get core branches like mechanical , civil , chemical , etc in many good , new iit's like ropar , BHU , Dhanbad etc , in the further rounds you can also get branches like EE , EEE and ECE . You can also take lower branches in old IIT's .

As you haven't mentioned your category,homestate so I'm not able to predict colleges for you but on a common/general analysis.For securing 8k rank in jee advanced will help you to get seats some of the older IITS with branches like ECE,civil, mechanical etc. Also you may get Cs, it branches too but those colleges either would be the lower ones or the newer ones.
