To get admission to Madhupur Polytechnic College, a general category student needs to pass the 10th board exam with at least 35% marks from a recognised board. Admission is based on the Jharkhand Polytechnic Entrance Exam (JCECEB). You must qualify in this exam and secure a good rank since seats are allotted through counselling. The cut-off changes every year depending on the number of applicants and seat availability. Being a Jharkhand resident is also an important eligibility requirement. Once you clear the exam, you’ll be called for document verification and counselling. Scoring higher in the entrance test increases your chances of getting your preferred branch.
