There is no such thing for doing BE or BTech from every engineering college and having a minimum criteria.
Some colleges have very low bars for admissions in their courses like you'll find some private and technical universities.
But if we talk particularly about tier 1 and tier 2 colleges then the bar decided this year for qualification was 89.75 percentile for general candidates.
And still there are lesser chances of getting good colleges with juat bar cleared.
You can just opt for some state technical universities if you haven't attempted JEE and are in no mood for drop.
