Dear Aspirant ,

Mop up round is basically a process of state by state counselling fir the seat allotment of students in government medical colleges against the seats from the All India 15% quota . This round is for the students who did not get seat allotment in 1st and 2nd round . You are eligible for Mop up round only if you werent selected in 1st and 2nd rounds.

On the contrary , in stray vacancy is the last and final round for those who werent selected in 1st , 2nd nd mop up rounds . If the seats are vacant the seats are given up for stray round to the respective college /institution.

The following are NOT eligible for stray vacancy round -

1. Candidates who joined there alloted seats in rounds 1 and 2 of AIQ/central universities

2. Candidates alloted and joined seats in Mop up round if MCC
