MSc Mathematics admissions for the 2025 to 2026 session have already started in some universities. For example, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University has its applications open till May 31, 2025, while Chennai Mathematical Institute has already conducted its entrance exam in June followed by interviews. Patna University will begin its postgraduate admissions from mid July 2025. In general, most universities release their notifications between January and May, conduct entrance exams around April to June, and complete admissions by June to July.
