Degree colleges in Mumbai may be opened by December. But it will be according to the situation of covid-19 Mumbai.

Even though the Union Education Ministry had issued guidelines to state to reopen the colleges from 15 October. Maharashtra minister of higher and technical education said that the current pandemic situation in state is not conductive to open colleges and universities.

The minister said that the decision of reopening of schools and colleges will only be taken after assesing the covid condition. The decision of reopening colleges and schools in Maharashtra will be taken after end of this month.

Most probably colleges may be opened by December.
