State rank is the rank which is calculated on the basis of candidates appeared from a particular state. State rank is released by State Counselling authorities. State authorities ask for state counselling registration where candidates apply and based on their merit obtained in the examination, the state authorities release merit lists. There you can get your State Rank. For Karnataka, till now the authority has not yet announced the counselling schedule. But tentatively, the merit list may release around first week of November.
