The National Institute of Technology will release the NIFT 2021 exam dates soon. The official notification has not been released yet.

NIFT entrance test consists of three phases- :-

Creative ability test ( CAT)

General ability test (GAT) , and

Situation test

CAT probably includes three question where candidates will have to answer the questions in 3 hours. It will evaluate candidates' intuitive and design ability, observation skills for developing a concept, innovative use of colour and illustration skills.

Exam pattern for GAT with number of questions in each section is:

English comprehension - 25

Quantitative Ability - 20

Communication ability - 25

Analytical ability - 15

General knowledge and Current affairs- 15
