JEE (Main) is also a prerequisite for JEE (Advanced), which is used to gain admission to IITs. Paper 2 is held for admission to the country's B. Arch and B. Planning programs. The JEE (Main) – 2022 will be held in two sessions for admissions to the academic year 2022-23.

As per NTA, Students are able to appear for JEE 2022 two times. phase one will be conducted from June 20 to 30 and second phase will be conducted from July 20 to 30.

The first session of JEE Main is scheduled to be conducted from June 20 to 29 and the session 2 exam will be held from July 21 to 30, 2022. NTA has announced the new JEE Main 2022 exam dates for both sessions 1 and 2. JEE Main 2022 registration date was released on the official website. The JEE Main 2022 application form is again available on jeemain.nta.nic.in and the last date for registration has been extended to April 25. The session 2 registration dates are not yet declared.
