After the release of Unlock 4.0 guidelines, it is clearly mentioned that schools in India will not open till September 30. However, as per the recent announcement, Union Health Ministry has released an SOP (standard operating procedure) for reopening of schools partially for Class 9 to 12 students for taking guidance from their teachers. On the contrary, many states including UP, Uttarakhand, Goa and more have denied reopening of Schools in their states.

Schools in India have been shut down since March 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Still, there is uncertainty regarding the school reopening date in India. Though steps have been taken to unlock, there is no confirmed date for reopening the schools.

On account of Covid19 pandemic this year all the educational institutions including schools have been closed since march. Now the lockdown is over and unlock has begun. Gradually the examination are being conducted with all precautionary measures. Yet there has not been any official news regarding reopening of schools. The Maharashtra CM is not in favour of opening schools now. However, they are planning to reopen it with suitable arrangements and all precautionary measures so that students' heath can be safeguarded. So let's wait for the official news come if any regarding reopening of schools in Maharashtra.
