As of now the NEET results haven't been declared.
As soon as the result comes out, NTA would upload a notice about the counselling procedure to be followed.
No need to worry about that friend, all the steps and rules would be mentioned with ease and there would be no hassles.
All you need to do is keep an eye on the website so as to be updated at a regular basis.
