Dear student,

The MBBS duration is 5.5 years, generally the course is of 4.5 years but 1 year you have to give for internship which is also very important.

Now lets suppose you start your MBBS course from 15 January 2021 then by the mid of 2026 you will be completing you MBBS degree in a full fledged manner. I must tell that the one year internship that you will do is mostly paid so think it as 4.5 years as student life, that one internship year be kind of your beginning of your working period.

MBBS course is known for its long duration and many a times the requests for shortening the duration has been made to medical council of India and they are thinking on this.

I hope this information helps you.
