The admission process for Class 9 in Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) for the 2025-26 session has already concluded. The entrance test was conducted on April 15, 2025.

For the 2026-27 Academic Session:

• The admission process is expected to start in March 2026.

• The entrance test for Class 9 is likely to be held around April 2026. It will cover subjects like Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science based on the Class 8 NCERT syllabus. The test will be 3 hours long and carry 100 marks. A minimum of 33% marks is required to qualify.

How to Apply:

1. Visit the official KVS admission portal: kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in

2. Click on ‘New Registration’ and fill in the student’s details, parent details, and contact information.

3. Choose the Kendriya Vidyalayas where you wish to apply (up to three schools).

4. Complete the application form and upload the required documents.

5. Review and submit the application form.

6. Download the admit card once it is available.
