It will take time and not be implemented immediately. The Indian government had set up a target of 2040 implement the entire new education policy in full India. For implementation the government will set up course wise committee including members from relevant ministries at both the levels state and Central.

The NEP or New education policy has not been implemented all over India yet.
talking about Maharashtra, the state government had earlier decided to implement it completely by april 2022. They are forming various committees in order to do so.
there has been no latest statement by state government regarding implementation of NEP on UG colleges
