Admission Alert: Law Applications Open at Jindal Global Law School
Hi Meghna,
The Consortium of NLU's that organizes the counselling for CLAT admissions refunds the amount of Rs.50,000 at the end of the counselling process (after all 3 allotment lists are out and the candidates have locked or withdrawn their seats)
If you participated in the process till the end (i.e. the release of the 3rd list) then do keep an eye out for the last date of changes made to the 3rd list after which CLAT Consortium automatically refunds the amount as per their official guidelines:
- Full amount of Rs.50,000 if the candidate is not allotted a seat.
- Rs.40,000 if the candidate exits the process or does not lock in the seat allotted to him/her
- Rs.40,000 if the candidate is found to be ineligible with regards to the documents that he/she submits.
So no, you do not have to apply separately for the refund just wait for the notification from the consortium.
Good day!
