Since your gate score is low, you can apply to those colleges that conduct their own exams for postgrad admissions. Some of those colleges are :

1. IIIT Hyderabad 
2. Bits pilani 
3. Vit vellore
   
4. Manipal University
5. SRM

as getting 17 as gate score is very low score and you have just qualified the gate but not witha good score card so there will be only some opportunities for you and you cant get any IIT or NIT to complete with that gate score with an aeronautical branch but with gate qualification you acn join inprivate universities which provide syou to join in aeronautical engineering so that you amy complete your course so all the best for your future
