Candidates who have completed diploma courses may apply to attend a bachelor of technology programme in the second year through lateral entry tests held by each state. You should be aware that diploma holders are not permitted to enrol in the second year of a b.tech programme at nits or iits. You may, however, apply to state government engineering institutes as well as private colleges.
