TOEFL, IETS and PTE are three compulsory English which you have to qualify to study abroad.

IELTS is preferred in universities of UK, Australia and New Zealand.

TOEFL is preferred in universities of US and Canada.

PTE is accepted at few colleges in US and most colleges in UK.

Now other than compulsory English exams, you will need to appear in other exams as well-

For Undergraduate- SAT or ACT

For MBA -GMAT or GRE

For MS-GRE

For Medical- MCAT

For Law-LSAT

Exams generally  dependon your course and the country you are choosing to study.
