If you are looking a good option for civil engineering. I prefer you to take diploma over science. Because, for pursuing degree in civil it will be helpful for you if you take diploma. Diploma will give you good basic knowledge about civil engineering. Which will help you for your degree studies. Most of the time diploma students are at a lead in terms of basic knowledge, which is hard for a science student to grasp.
