According to my experience, its better to refer to different books for preparation if you have many months left. Go through different materials and see what suits you.

If you wish to score well and have less time. I recommend GKP publication as it helped me a lot.
It consists of all necessary chapters and also gives functionality of app for questions of the past gate papers.
