2. Higher engineering mathematics by Bandaru ramana.
3. Higher engineering mathematics by b.s.GRewal.
4. Engineering mathematics solved papers by Made easy publications.

Among these books,higher engineering mathematics by B.S.Grewal is the best book for quick and easy understanding of maths problems and it will be helpful for you in cracking the gate exam. And the remaining books are for better reference.
