If you don't get CSE, it's a better option to choose IT.

To get into a software company, you can learn programming and coding on the side along with your coursework and the amount of extra work that you will have to do will be reduced if you choose IT. That way, you can maintain a decent GPA and prepration for your dream Internships and jobs.
