Your placement depends on your performance at the time of the interview, not because of your branch or your course.The branches or course we take up somehow depends on the placement but not wholly. Our placements wholely depend on our liking for the subject and our knowledge upon it.

I suggest you take up the course which you like and certainly get a good placement.
