Hi Ashok,

Most of the Astronauts have engineering degree in aerospace engineering (undergraduation). But to become astronaut candidates can pursue  a Bachelor’s degree in biological science, engineering,  mathematics or physical science from a recognized university. Then you need to go for master's from institutes like IISc or IITs. You can go for PhD in geophyiscs or astrophysics or metaphysics. Candidates then need to qualify the entrance exam conducted by ISRO or NASA.

Thankyou!
