i would suggest you mechanical if you want to be on safe side.

you will easily get a job in any industry.

Information technology has right now lot of potential to grow.For getting advantage of this growth you need good knowledge otherwise it will render you nothing.

you can also go to abroad for job.it will pay you handsome money.

Information technology is all depends on your knowledge and creativity.

As per market demand I would suggest you to go for information technology (IT) branch instead of mechanical branch.

As now a days information technology is on boom now a days . There was a time when mechanical engineering was in demand.

But for now I would advise you to go for IT branch in any of the institute you want to go.
