Hi, Practically both IT and CSE are good. Its up to you to decide which subject you want to pursue, based on your interests.
CSE is presumed to be familiar with all concepts of subjects offered in IT but the same cannot be said for a student of IT.
If you are interested in becoming an expert on Computers, you would do well to choose CSE, be it becoming an Engineer or a researcher. If you think that you want to pursue a more professional course, than IT would be more suitable for you.
