Computer science engineering is a better course than ECE. The placements for CSE is better than that fir ECE,  moreover there are some jobs of electrical and communication engineers where CS engineers can also apply,  so you will have a lot of options to choose from.

Both are equally good but ECE has the potential to give you more opportunities in future, for example you can have a great career with either IT industry or a core industry. But choose a branch that suits your interests because that's what will help you to land on a good job. And whichever branch you select try to do it from a good college.
