Hello Student,

First of all no branch is bad. All branches have their own benefits. Now coming to the point of ECE vs CE , it depends on your interest to choose anyone from these two.

If you have interest in Electronics part , semiconductors , currents etc. then you must take ECE branch . And nowadays this branch has very good placements. Many core companies need ECE students. So its a good choice to take this branch.

But if you like chemicals , and wants to do research in chemicals and other part then you must choose this branch. Also the placements for this branch are good nowadays. But as compared to ECE branch, it has less placements.

So keeping in mind all these data you can choose anyone branch from these two. Both are good but I again want to say that it totally depends on your interest.
