Both these branches  are related to field of computers but there is subtle difference between them in terms of work. CSE is more of a coding-related but highly competitive branch while IT is more of a networking related field with similar opportunities. You can choose any of them upon your field your interest.

Information Technology  gives knowledge about different applications ,uses of them whereas Computer Science tells us how to build these applications. 

Both of them are amazing fields given that you understand them properly. Also both the fields are growing at high speed.
