Hey dear, basically all the engineering branches are preferred in elite organisations  of india. But there will be more vancies for brances like ECE, EEE , aeronautical and aviation. So if you want to join isro, firstly after completing 12th qualify jee mains and get into some good college and aim for isro, otherwise your good GATE score may also lead you towards it.
