hi,

SC, ST and other backward classes comes under category 1. They can avail defined quotas amongst other benefits for education, special government schemes, government employment and political representation.

Hello Gudapati!

I assume you are talking about the category A of OBCs in Andhra Pradesh. The group-A(BC-A) castes comprise of aboriginal tribes, vimuktha jathis, nomadic and semi-nomadic tribes of Andhra Pradesh.

If you are talking about category A referring to convenor quota seats in government colleges, it generally comprises of poor families from all categories. 50% of seats under government stipulated seats are available for the convenir quota, fee reimbursement from the State government will be applicable to them.
