see all tier 1 colleges need entrance exam score and you can not get admission with out securing rank or participating in counselling process. tier 3 colleges which has no good placement record, less number of faculty, poor infrastructure allows candidates with out any entrance test for mba admission, now it depends on you whether you want to go for this type of  college or prepare for entrance exams, like cat/mat/xat/cmat etc.
