You haven't mentioned the exam you're talking about but it seems that its Jee Main. As you are a general category candidate, there are very less chances to get any government college anywhere in India. But you can get private colleges. There are many top ranked private engineering colleges in India and you need to apply separately for them. Another way, you can wait for Spot rounds but that's risky too. But you must apply and confirm a seat in any college so that even if you don't get a seat through spot rounds, your one year doesn't get wasted.
