With a rank above 4 lakhs in JEE Mains, you should prioritize NITs (National Institutes of Technology) and IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology) that are lower in the rankings, along with CFTIs (Centrally Funded Technical Institutes).

You should also consider your home state NIT if it offers a desirable branch.
