When it comes to Biotechnology and Biochemistry, these two subjects are research oriented especially Biochemistry so there are only handful colleges offering undergraduate courses in thes subjects. Most of the high level Institutes offer Masters and P.hd in them. Most of the students pursue either zoology, botany  or chemistry (applicable only for biochemistry) in their bachelors and then apply for masters in these fields.
