Most of the colleges will give you admission with the rank of JEE MAINS in Engineering. Students with good scores goes for NIT's or IIIT's and IIEST. Although, some private colleges and state government colleges may not accept the score of JEE MAINS and for those colleges you have to sit for their entrance examinations.
