Actually the question you have asked is a wrong. Because JEE(MAINS) is an entrance exam for the IITs i.e Indian institutes of technology. So even if you got 75% in your 12 board you have to qualify in 1st entrance exam of IIT that is nothing but MAINS exam. Then 75% importance is given for the marks you scored in MAINS exam and remaining 25% is based on your 12th results.
These are certain marks to qualify for different castes. So you have check your marks based in your caste. If you qualify in that you may get admission in NITs. It is some what lower level of IITs. After that you have to write ADVANCED exam. If you qualify in that exam you may get admission in IIT.
There are total 23 IIT collages in India.
So if you don't wanna write JEE(MAINS) then you may write EAMCET exam in your state and join in a normal btech college in your locality.

If your Class 12 percentage is less than 75% then you can't take admission with JEE mains,you are not elegible for that.

• But there are other Colleges which give admission for 55% in class 12
• You can apply in UPTU by which you can get admission if your marks are above 55%.
• You can take admission in IPU also it has many good engineering colleges such as MAIT,MSIT many companies with good pay package visit it.
• You can also take admission in DU if you are not getting any course in BTECH in any College.
• You can also take admission in SRM University which has criteria for minimum 65% in class 12th
• LPU is another good University which take admission based on class 12 marks.There are many good companies visit the Colleges.
• Chandigarh University is also good which has guiness book of world record for placement.Many recruiters pay more than 10 lakhs per annum.
