If your plan is to remain in India, Id suggest you go for MBA because an engineering line in Biotech or Food Tech will not really yield a good paycheck unless youre into research.
If you go for M.Tech, you will have to go for a PhD as well, as that serves as a basic requirement for a flourishing line in Research and Development. It will take up a lot of time in the process as well and will require a lot of patience.
MBA, on the other hand, gives you a better opportunity in this country.

MBA has best scope if done from top30 colleges into all management roles across all business verticals and specific roles into Operations, HR, Marketing, Finance, international business, retail management, etc.

Both are the different fields & has its own value. It depends on your potential & capability. If you have interest in the management fields then you can apply for the MBA. There are many streams in which you can pursue your course and you can choose it according to your area of interest.

But if you are interested in the technical things then you should go for M.tech because it will give you the details information about the things which you are studying. To get admission in good M.tech college you can take GATE exam.
